Golf, spa & tennis


Kestrel is located adjacent to the Best Western Hotel & Golf Club, Dartmouth. Our visitors to Kestrel have guest membership and can use their facilities.


Golf

Included in your holiday rental is guest membership of the Dartmouth Hotel Golf Club. This gives you unlimited use of the Dartmouth Course and discounted fees for the Championship Course (25% of published tee fees). Please book your tee time online or by calling 01803 712650.
 
The Dartmouth Hotel Golf Club has two golf courses:


  1. The Championship Course is a 7,200 yard, par 72, 18 hole golf course. It has hosted the West Region PGA Championships on six occasions, has been designed to challenge the most proficient golfer, with the strategic positioning of tees, meandering streams, twelve water features and undulating greens, providing an excellent and enjoyable challenge to golfers of all abilities.
  2. The Dartmouth Course is a 2,252 yard, par 33, 9 hole golf course which offers a more relaxing challenge. Nevertheless, the course has been built to the exact same standard as its sister course, offering the golfer similar challenges of undulating greens and water features. This course is a must to all golfers wanting to enjoy the true ‘Dartmouth Experience’.


Club hire, buggy hire and use of the driving range are at member rates.


Spa & swimming pool


Your holiday rental also includes guest membership of the Dartmouth Hotel Spa which is adjacent to the Dartmouth Green cottages, about a three minute walk away from Kestrel. If you would like to use the facilities please let us know as we need to notify the Spa of your names seven days before your arrival.


The Spa includes

  • an indoor swimming pool
  • steam room, sauna
  • beauty salon
  • fully equipped gym
  • jacuzzi
  • four beauty treatment rooms. If you wish to book any beauty treatments, then please book directly with the Spa. There will be a charge for these. To book a beauty treatment or gym assessment, call 01803 712017.


The Spa is open from 8am to 8pm daily.

Children (aged 16 and under) can ONLY swim between 9am - 10.30am and 4pm - 6pm daily.

Robes, towels and slippers can be hired for £7pp

Tennis


Kestrel's large decking area directly overlooks the Tennis court and is available to use for free by all residents of the Dartmouth Green cottages. Please use it whenever you like, but be considerate if other people request to use it as well.


Please bring your own tennis racquet and tennis balls.

Hotel Bistro & bar


The Hotel restaurant & bar are a short three minute walk from Kestrel. There is an outside terrace for use in fine weather and functions and events take place in their upstairs meeting rooms.
